Space Fee
*There is no need to open one third on the part along the neighboring booths as 2.7m height system wall panels will be installed by the organizer.
  • 1 booth minimum size: 3m x 3m (9sqm), 4 or more booths application only.
  • Four corners of the raw space will be indicated with tapes on the floor. However, the adjacent booths may be placed depending on the floor layout situation. In that case, system wall panels will be installed.
  • Wall panels, carpets or any other fittings are not included.
  • Exhibitors need a minimal decoration on their booths to keep the unified aesthetic appearance of the show.One third or more per one side must be open with an access aisle. Overseas Secretariat can introducean official contractor if needed.
  • Up to two co-exhibitors per one booth can be registered on printed materials and the website.

*In case you provide food / drink tasting, installing sink / wash basin is necessary based on the guidance of Local Health Center. Exhibitors must bear the cost of the installation fee.

■ Change or Cancellation of the Application
After the submission of the application, the exhibitor is not permitted to change or cancel the application in principle. If the exhibitor changes or cancels the application, the exhibitor must notify the organizer in writing and pay the prescribed cancellation fee.

Cancellation Fee
On or before August 22, 2018 :   30% of exhibition fee
On and after August 23, 2018 : 100% of exhibition fee

Special Theme Zone for Unique Overseas Food Products
Foods that are usual and common in your country may be perceived as peculiar in Japan.
Japanese supermarket buyers are looking for unique and original food products all the time.
There are many opportunities for overseas products especially which are still unfamiliar in Japan.
In SMTS2019, we will set up a special theme zone where we present several recipes using unfamiliar overseas food products. A chef features your food product with characteristics that represents your country and creates a new recipe. The recipe turns your product into Japanese daily dish.
We will aim at creating additional demands from retailers who are willing to introduce new items.

  • Operation Method
    Making recipes featuring overseas food products unfamiliar to Japanese
    A chef introduces new ideas that make unfamiliar overseas foods into Japanese everyday dishes.

    Cooking demonstration in the kitchen studio and free sampling to the visitors
    A chef will demonstrate how to cook the recipes.
    Free sampling will be conducted several times a day.

    Each menu and its ingredients are shown in the adjoining display area All the ingredients are displayed next to the kitchen studio. We will shoot recipe movies in advance and play them on screen while the demonstration is not on.
  • Condition
    1. Only one product can be registered.
    2. Exhibiting at this theme zone must be additional to exhibitor’s own booth.
    3. Exhibitors must provide free samples (minimum 10 sets) by shipping for creating recipes and movie shooting in advance as well as providing them for cooking demonstration during the show.
    4. Exhibitors will receive a recipe movie after the show.

  • After the receipt of the application form, the organizer examines the applicant's products planned to be displayed. In case the organizer considers that the applicant or the exhibiting product is not appropriate for the show, the application may be refused.
■ Application Deadline
August 15, 2018
*If the booths sell out before the deadline, the application will be finished.
■ Determination of booth location
Floor layout will be announced at the beginning of October. The organizer will do the layout of the booth location.
